Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

In Springfield, Missouri

Do you have a waiting list?

No, we do not.

Are kittens sold on a first come, first serve basis?

No.  They are not.  We often have several applications at once on a kitten.  We try to find the best match for each one.  If several people are a good match, then we go with the first person who had their application filled out.

At what age can your kittens leave?

Our kittens can leave when they are ten weeks old, eating on their own, and totally litterbox trained.

Are your cats registered with the Cat Fancier Association (CFA)?

They are!  All of our cats are, and yours can be too.  All you need to do is have them spayed or neutered by a certain age, if we haven't done this prior to them leaving.  Once that is done you send me proof, and we will send you a CFA application so that you can register your kitten.

Are your cats tested for PKD?

All of our breeding cats are tested prior to breeding.  If we have kept the offspring from two of our cats that were already tested, then no.  They would not need to be tested since their parents are negative.

Why do some of the young kittens have eyes that go in different directions

This is called, "Strabismus".  It is basically just weak eye muscles.   Kittens are not terribly good at aligning their eyes together. However it is a self-correcting issue and by the time they are ten or twelve weeks old, and ready to leave home, the strabismus will have resolved itself.  This is normal in these young ones, and if you look at the same kittens, a little older, you won't see it anymore.

How can I tell if you have kittens available?

I keep my Facebook Page, and this website very up to date. If you see a kitten marked as "AVAILABLE", there is a 99% chance that they are.

Do you offer a health guarantee?

Yes.   We provide a two-year health guarantee for replacement due to any life-threatening congenital disease or defect that results in death.

When is the final payment due on my kitten?

The day that you pick up your kitten, prior to you taking it home.

What if something comes up & I can't get my kitten?

  • Deposits are non refundable, but are transferable.

  • We understand that life happens and things don't always go as planned.  In that case we allow a ONE TIME  transfer to another litter as long as we are notified prior to your reserved kitten reaching six weeks of age.

How often do you take pictures of your kittens?

Every two weeks.  Sometimes a little more, or a little less depending on my work and family schedule.

Information on Spaying and Neutering

** Please note that we may spay or neuter your kitten prior to it leaving our home at our discretion.   If we do not, you must have them spayed or neutered by six months of age, at your expense.
